Have You Seen This Garbage?

Outside of Paula Patton’s presence, this movie looks like complete crap. The odds of the scenario (from imdb.com) that is the basis of this movie are smaller than winning the lottery.
Kevin Costner stars as Bud Johnson, an apathetic, beer slinging, lovable loser, who is coasting through a life that has passed him by, except for the one bright spot in his mundane existence, his precocious, over achieving twelve-year old daughter, Molly. She takes care of them both, until one mischievous moment on Election Day, when she accidentally sets off a chain of events which culminates in the presidential election coming down to one vote, her dads.
Suddenly, Bud Johnson, the nobody, becomes the voice for everybody when the world realizes that his vote will be the one that elects the next president. Politicians invade the small town of Texico, New Mexico and its unwitting inhabitants, waging war for Bud’s vote.
I am strongly hoping that this film will educate some of the movie-going public on the finer points of the Electoral College, but I fully expect that they will equate the popular vote with the election of a President, and the government-educated masses will eat it up with a spoon, expecting the November election to play out the same way.

It may not have been the most powerful movie as far as action and to some people. But it’s last scenes the Debate scene where Kevin is reading his letter with the question. And in general the In Sourcing part etc. Made a statement that I feel most Americans agree with. We are so sick and tired of what is happening to our country it’s like it is becoming a Nation we do not recognize. We are becoming assimilated by other Nationalities especially So. of the border. And we are controlled by the Oil Masters etc. of the world and financially (China). It does’nt take a rocket scientist to realize there is right way and a wrong way to help people. In my life I’ve realized that I can’t afford to help everyone or I won’t be able to take care of my self. Our leaders need to take a look at what most Americans want and not let the lobbyists etc. representing whom evers agenda to decide what and how we want our country ran. It was refreshing to see someone in Hollywood not be so far left Liberal or Conservative and just state a true and simple fact. Thank You Kevin Costner etc.
