New Barr Bomb - Axe the Tax
Posted by Brett Bittner on July 25, 2008
Barrbomb.com has announced a new goal and date to help the Barr campaign raise money. On August 5th, they are organizing an “Axe the Tax” money bomb with a goal of $100,000 raised for the Barr campaign on that date. As usual, there is significance to the date, as August 6, 1861 was the date of the first income tax to help finance the Civil War (I hate that term and its inaccuracy). Please make plans and a pledge to donate what you can a week from Tuesday. I have already made my pledge, and I will be making yet another donation to the campaign. Also, if you have not seen the newest campaign video, The Time for Liberty, spend a couple minutes here or on YouTube watching, and then spend a few more minutes sharing with everyone you know.
